Our Mission

HOGAR de Dallas was founded in 1998 for the purpose of stimulating interest in Hispanic genealogy, assisting in the research of Hispanic lineages, promoting an understanding of Hispanic heritage within the community, and supporting the genealogy section of the J. Erik Jonsson Public Library in Dallas and other libraries as deemed necessary.

 

About Us

Welcome to all who are interested in the research of their Hispanic ancestors! We meet quarterly throughout the year on the second Saturday of March, June, September, and December. 

Remaining General Meeting dates for 2014 are:

  • September 13

  • December 13

 

MEMBERSHIP

Family membership is $30.00 a year from August to August each year. Membership includes:

  • HOGAR Journal

  • Special workshops

  • Four newsletters a year

  • Assistance in finding your ancestors

  • Four general business meetings
