2015 First Quarter Meeting

HOGAR held its first quarterly meeting of 2015 on Saturday, March 14 at 2pm at the Lochwood Branch of the Dallas Public Library. Afterward, guest speaker, Rachel Amado Bortnick, presented “Sephardic Jews and Hispanic Americans – Can we be cousins?”. It was an enlightening presentation outlining the common language, traditions, beliefs, and customs between both groups….and enjoyed by all.  A big welcome to all first-timers. Join us again in June!
